With the Salone del Mobile in full swing in Milano, we can’t pass on talking about the “springiest” tendencies in home decor. Spring has sprung, and out there is all about pastel colors, natural materials, and minimalist furniture. All topped off with a pinch of retro vibes.
° Pastel colors
According to Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, the color palette for Spring 2017 is centered on pastels that provide a sense of relaxation, “reminiscences of the hues that surround us in nature.” Hazelnut, Primrose Yellow, Niagara, Greenery are only some of the delicate colors you are surrounded by.
°° Natural materials (a Must!)
Today, more than ever, natural and durable materials play a central role. Indeed, wood and marble are among the most beloved materials for this Spring. Deep rooted in craftsmanship, they maintain their traditional character while being reinterpreted in a contemporary way. An approach we are very fond to.
°°° Minimalist furniture (with a retro touch)
Less is more. It’s a real mantra nowadays for many aspects of our lives. And so is for the furniture industry. It creates more and more versatile pieces of furniture with simple yet sharp lines.
